This day that year!

It is very easy to recollect the days by the events/occasion. Don't you think it is easy to remember the dates from school/college days ? As we can relate it to particular class/year. Once we grow old, it becomes difficult to relate as the events are not regular. Like after I came to USA, I started linking my memories with long weekends, while back in India it was with festivals. In short, I need a special occasion or big change to co relate. 

January long weekend always comes after the Christmas vacation and hence, I think for me it's magic fades! I don't want one more long weekend so soon :) This year we did not even step out of our home on the long weekend as my lo was not well. So, I tried to remember on what I did on this long weekend for last couple of years.

We went to Yosemite National park on one of the long weekend and it was for the first time I saw snow!

Another year, we been to Lake Tahoe  and Mono Lake. We did skiing that time and it was fun.

Another two years, we have spent same time of year at home enjoying Pongal with our family.
